By Road – Use the postcode FY8 2NQ. We are located on North Promenade, just North of St Annes Pier. If you have any problems finding us please give us a call and we will assist with local directions. Please note that unfortunately some satellite navigation systems take you to the back of the hotel, please enter the hotel from the car park on North Promenade.
By Rail – St. Annes on Sea train station is only a 10 minute walk or 4 minute taxi ride to the hotel. We recommend using Whitesides if you require a taxi. The depot is right next to the station so you may be able to catch one right outside. Alternatively, we do have Uber in the local area. St Annes on Sea has direct routes to Preston (20 minutes) where you can connect to national stations such as London Euston, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, York, Manchester and many more.

Yes, we are dog friendly! However, we are also mindful and respectful of guests seeking a holiday free from muddy paws, so we have designated dog-friendly bedrooms and specific communal areas to ensure harmony, peace and enjoyment for everyone.

The best possible price is always guaranteed when you book direct with us. Additionally we can offer you a voucher of £7 per room off our lounge and brasserie menus when you book direct. This voucher is not available to guests who have booked with us on a special offer.

Checking in to your room is guaranteed from 15:00 on your day of arrival, however, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and explore the local area or have a meal or drink in our bar or lounge. The team will be on hand to help you when you arrive. Early check in may be able to be arranged for a fee, dependent on availability.

Check out is by 11:00. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day. If you require or would like a late check out, please mention this at reception and we will see what we can do for you. Late check out may incur a fee.

The Glendower Hotel has a wheelchair accessible main entrance.
All public areas on the ground floor are accessible via wheelchair (no steps). This includes our bar, restaurant, lounge, reception and fireplace area, Georgian Suite, Lowther Room, Ballam Room, Games Room and the gym.
We have an accessible toilet on the ground floor which has a disabled toilet alarm fitted.
The hotel lift does access both the first and second floor, but does not all bedrooms. Please call in advance to let us know that you require lift access and we can confirm we have a room with your requirements available.
Some of our corridors within the bedrooms have steps in the middle due to the age and structure of the hotel – it is advised that all guests requiring complete level access contact us directly in advance of their reservation.
The Glendower has a designated Wheelchair Accessible Twin Bedroom, please call the hotel directly to book this.

The Glendower Hotel’s car park is at the front of the building on North Promenade; all spaces are clearly marked with white lines.
We have a total of 40 car parking spaces which are taken on a first arrival basis. This includes:
2 x designated disabled spaces (first come first serve basis).
3 x designated EV charging spaces. These chargers are managed via the Project EV app.
Overflow Parking is available at weekends and during school holidays.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for flexible room rates. Our advanced purchase rates are non-refundable or changeable. Please email reception@glendowerhotel.co.uk if you have any queries or would like to amend your booking.

We accept both cash and card payments. We are happy to inform you that we accept American Express.

Consistent with British Legislation, it is illegal to smoke inside the hotel. Please do not smoke anything (including normal and electronic cigarettes) either inside the hotel public areas or in the bedrooms.
Anyone found smoking will immediately be fined £100.00 and management reserve the right to terminate their stay.
Smoking is permitted in our outdoor terrace. Please do not smoke near our front entrance door for the comfort of our guests.

We are pleased to offer room service for a tray charge of £7.50. This applies to any food across our breakfast, lounge and brasserie menus. Room service is available during the hours of service for each menu.

Yes we do! We are very proud of our range of equipment in our gym, we are sure you will find everything you need.
Our gym is open from Monday to Friday 06:15-20:30. Saturdays 07:30-14:00. Closed on Sundays.
